Originating in Uruguay and Argentina, Chimichurri is a beautiful sauce made with some simple ingredients and goes amazingly well with steak. If you’ve never tried it, give it a go!
Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 shallot
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2/3 cup only the finest extra-virgin olive
Mix all these ingredients together. It’s as simple as that.
