🥩 Steak Strips & Chimichurri Sauce 🫙 @albarakahmeatsltd @chimmysok

During Ramadan, a one-pot quick table idea is needed when you’re cooking. This was so fast and easy to make, and I loved the meat from @albarakahmeatsltd where it was so tender and soft.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Olive oil (4 tablespoons)
  • Angus steak cut into strips @albarakahmeatsltd
  • Vegetable stock (2 drops) @yondu.uk
  • Chimmy’s sauce in classic (3 tablespoons) @chimmysok
  • Bell peppers (green, yellow and red)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 1 cup of water

To start with this, you’ll need to heat your pan with olive oil and add your steak strips on low heat and stir well for 5 minutes.

Raise this to medium heat for 2-3 minutes and add your vegetable stock, followed by Chimmy’s sauce of 3-4 tablespoons, depending on how saucy you like it, which includes:

Water, cider vinegar, ground spices (smoked paprika, fennel seed, black pepper, ginger, coriander seed, cumin seed, garlic, chilli), roasted red pepper, rapeseed oil, dried herbs (4%) (parsley, basil, oregano, thyme), sundried tomato and salt (which refrains from adding your own)!

Stir well for 5 minutes, lowering your heat again and adding bell peppers and onions.

Stir well, add 1 mug of hot water, and let this simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Once done, assemble onto a plate and serve with flatbread. I used @dinafoods which can be easily wrapped up and made into a sandwich.

Enjoy 🤎
